    I LOVE, LOVE Uncorked Asheville as a tourist, and now as a local. We vacationed in this area for 15 years before relocating here last year. The Uncorked Asheville blog and newsletters were and are my go-to for ideas, resources, and great information. I also use the Facebook group regularly now that I live here. It has helped me find vets, doctors, hair salons, and all the things. It is a lovely community of caring folks who love this area as much as we do. After falling in love with those gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains— including crocheted flying pigs on lampposts, cascading waterfalls, and lit cocktails in used bookstores—my husband Tom and I decided to call Asheville, North Carolina our home. When my pointy Italian nose isn’t stuck in a book, I’m adopting all of the kitties, getting lost in the forest, and drinking a Mexican Lager.
